What sizes do Prepped By Bec meals come in?

We currently offer two sizes, REGULAR (used to be Burner) and LARGE (used to be Sport).
The Regular portion includes about 4oz Protein, 2oz Healthy Carbohydrates, and 1 cup of Veggies.
The Large portion includes about 6oz Protein, 3oz Healthy Carbohydrates, and 1 cup of Veggies. All macronutrient information can be viewed online and is printed on individual meal label.

How do I know which size meal to order?

Your individual needs will vary based on your goals, health history and lifestyle.
The Regular size meals are great for smaller framed clients and for those looking to lose some weight.
The Large size meals are the right size for very active clients and those with larger appetites. We recommend starting with the LARGE meals and reducing to the REGULAR, if needed.

Where will my meals be prepared?

All meals are prepared and packaged fresh for you at our Health Department Certified Commercial Kitchen in Costa Mesa, California.
We carry a current Orange County Health Permit and undergo routine inspections from the OCHCA. Your safety is our TOP priority!

How long will my meals last?

Refrigerated meals will last 5 days. Fish entrees and salads should be enjoyed in the beginning half of the week for top quality and freshness.

Don't think you'll get to all of your meals within 5 days? You may choose to freeze anything that you would like to enjoy outside of that 5 day window. If you decide to freeze a meal we find it best to 1) remove the lid 2) cover with plastic wrap 3) replace the lid, before freezing. This will ensure food quality and freshness as intended. Any frozen meal should be consumed within 2 weeks of delivery date.

TIP! Do not freeze any salads!
NOTE! All plastic containers are freezer (and microwave!) safe.

When will I receive my meals? Do I need to be home? How will I be notified the meals have arrived?

Your meals will be delivered in an insulated cooler bag with an ice pack on Sunday morning(s) between 8am and 12 noon.

You do not need to be home to receive your delivery, your bag will be delivered to your front door. Please be sure to include and gate codes / access codes / special instructions in delivery notes to help the driver locate your front door! You will receive a text message notification that your meals have arrived.

What do I do with the cooler bag(s) and ice pack(s)?

You will leave the cooler bag at your doorstep for the driver to collect when delivering your next set of meals. If you do not plan to order again, please email Bec at [email protected] and a driver will be sent to collect the cooler bag.
If you would like to keep the cooler bag, please email Bec at [email protected] and after a $10 charge, you may keep the bag.
We do not charge up front for the cooler bags, but we appreciate our customers working with us to be sure these bags are returned or paid for once they are finished with our service.
We do not require return of the ice pack(s), but if you would like to help us recycle and reuse, please leave the ice pack(s) in the cooler bag(s) for us to collect on Sunday morning!

Where do the food items come from?

We have formed relationships with local food distributors who provide all food items used to produce Prepped by Bec meals. We currently source the majority of our proteins from US Foods and our produce from Penjoyan Produce at Grower’s Ranch in Newport Beach.

When do I need to place my order by? What if I miss the deadline?

You must place your order by Tuesday at Midnight for Sunday delivery.
If you miss the deadline, please email us at [email protected] and we will do our best to accommodate your order.

Subscription Payments and Subscription Cancellation Deadlines

All subscription payments will run on Monday morning at 3am.

You must make your meal selections by Tuesday evening at midnight, otherwise, they will be chosen for you based on your preferences.

You have until Tuesday evening at midnight to skip a delivery or pause your subscription. Any requests to skip a week or pause a subscription made after Tuesday at midnight will be considered and offered on a case by case basis only.

{PLEASE NOTE! Any subscription that is cancelled AFTER Monday evening at midnight will be manually refunded. Please allow 1 day for this manual refund to be completed. All refunds will be clearly communicated with each customer!)

What if I need to make a change to my subscription and I need help?

Things that you can do on your own, under you account profile:
- change billing / card details
- request delivery address change
- change meal preferences, allergies, and dislikes
- skip a week of meals
- create a new plan (this will override your existing one)
- cancel your subscription (must be done before Tuesday at midnight)
