We have formed relationships with LOCAL food distributors who provide all food items used to produce Prepped by Bec meals. We currently source the majority of our proteins from US Foods and produce from Penjoyan Produce at Grower’s Ranch in Newport Beach.

Yes! We deliver within a 30 mile radius of our commercial kitchen in Costa Mesa, 92626.

Do I need to be home when meals are delivered?2019-12-30T10:31:00-08:00

No, you do not need to be home at the time of delivery.  You will receive your meals, delivered to your doorstep, in an insulated cooler bag with an ice pack included. You will receive a text message as soon as your bag has been delivered.

SUBSCRIBERS: It is your responsibility to leave this empty cooler bag at your front door on Saturday evening so that we can trade these bags out when we deliver on Sunday morning. For any non-returned cooler bags there will be a $10 charge.

ONE TIME ORDER: You will be required to leave your empty cooler bag at your front door at the conclusion of your week of meals. This will be picked up by our delivery team on Sunday morning. For any non-returned cooler bags there will be a $10 charge.

In order to ensure a smooth delivery, please provide us with any gate codes necessary to access your community.
Please notify us of any special access requirements such as gate guards or key-less entry.
This can be submitted in the “Order & Delivery Notes” text box  during checkout.

We do not require return of your ice pack(s), but if you would like to help us recycle and reuse, please leave the ice pack(s) in your cooler bag(s) for us to collect on Sunday morning!

No, we do not currently have a pickup location. If you are unable to receive your delivery on Sunday morning between 8am and 12 noon, please contact us and we will work with you to make other arrangements.

What sizes do Prepped By Bec meals come in?2019-06-25T13:02:38-07:00

We currently offer two sizes, BURNER & SPORT.

The Burner portion includes 4oz Protein, 2oz Healthy Carbohydrates, and about 1 cup of Veggies. The Sport portion includes 6oz Protein, 3oz Healthy Carbohydrates, and about 1 cup of Veggies.

All macronutrient information can be viewed online on our weekly menu.

(PLEASE NOTE! Macronutrient information is available for all standard options but will not be available for modified meal plans / modified meals.)

The Burner portion includes 4oz Protein, 2oz Healthy Carbohydrates, and about 1 cup of veggies.

The Sport portion includes 6oz Protein, 3oz Healthy Carbohydrates, and about 1 cup of veggies.

Your individual needs will vary based on your goals, health history and lifestyle. BURNER Meals are great for smaller framed clients and for those looking to lose some weight. SPORT Meals are the right size for very active clients and those with larger appetites. We recommend starting with the SPORT meals and reducing to the BURNER, if needed.

You MUST place your order by 12 NOON on Wednesday for Sunday delivery.
Any cancellations or modifications to your order MUST be submitted via email by 8am on Wednesday morning.

All meals are prepared fresh for you at our Health Department Certified Commercial Kitchen in Costa Mesa, California.

We carry a current Orange County Health Permit and undergo routine inspections from the OCHCA. Your safety is our TOP priority!

Can I store my meals in the freezer?2019-02-14T15:28:36-08:00

We recommend you enjoy your meals fresh within 4-5 days. If you choose to freeze meals we find it best to wrap with plastic wrap before freezing. This will ensure food quality and freshness as intended. Food consumption should take place within 2 weeks of delivery date.

All plastic containers are freezer safe.

I am really trying to watch my carbohydrate intake, do you offer a Low Carb option?2020-02-16T10:20:32-08:00

YES! Due to popular demand, we do offer a Low Carb option. In order to receive “Low Carb” meals, please select this option when placing your order.

Our Low Carb option eliminates white rice, pasta, white potatoes etc. and instead substitutes brown rice, quinoa, sweet potatoes, zucchini noodles, spaghetti squash, and extra veggies.

We remove the “simple carbs” and replace with “complex carbs”. Complex carbs take longer to digest and are a more stable source of energy than simple carbs.

Meals are conveniently packaged in microwave safe containers. Your meals are fully cooked and can be enjoyed hot or cold. Please remove any plastic sauce containers or packets prior to reheating.
To reheat, microwave your meals for about 60 – 90 seconds.

To cancel your order or subscription you must notify our customer service department via email by 8am on Wednesday morning. Changes, cancellations made, or refunds requested after this time will not be honored.
